Directions
Step 1
In a large pan or wok, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and onion, and sauté until the onion is translucent.
Step 2
Add the pork and cook until browned on all sides.
Step 3
Add the vinegar, soy sauce, and water to the pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Add the string beans to the pan and stir to coat with the sauce. Cover and simmer for another 10-15 minutes, or until the string beans are tender.
Step 5
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6
Serve hot with steamed rice.
