Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry
Ingredients

1 pound of flank steak, sliced thinly against the grain

2 cups of broccoli florets

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

1 tablespoon of minced garlic

1 tablespoon of minced ginger

1/4 cup of soy sauce

2 tablespoons of oyster sauce

2 tablespoons of brown sugar

1 tablespoon of cornstarch

Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Step 1
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt until well combined. Set aside.
Step 2
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced flank steak and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned on both sides. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
Step 3
In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Step 4
Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the broccoli is tender but still crisp
Step 5
Return the beef to the skillet and pour the soy sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and the beef is cooked through.
Step 6
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
Step 7
Serve hot with rice or noodles.
