Grilled Asian Chicken

Grilled Asian Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Directions

Step 1

In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.

Step 2

Add the chicken breasts to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight.

Step 3

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off.

Step 4

Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until it's fully cooked and has reached an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Step 5

Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
