Baked Spicy Chicken Dumplings
Ingredients

4 oz ground chicken

1/2 tsp sesame oil

2 tbsp iSpice World FlavorsTM Asian Seasoning

1 green onion, finely chopped

1/2 tbsp fresh coriander, finely chopped

1/4 cup canned water chestnuts, drained & finely chopped

1/2 tbsp light soy sauce

1/2 package frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed but chilled (1 sheets total)

1/2 tbsp milk
-
1 small egg, beaten
-
1/8 cup sesame seeds
-
sweet chili sauce for dipping
Directions
Step 1
Combine chicken, sesame oil, iSpice World FlavorsTM Asian Seasoning, green onions, coriander, water chestnuts and soy sauce in a mixing bowl until well mixed.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Step 3
Unroll puff pastry onto a clean work surface. Cut out 8, 8cm rounds from the puff pastry sheets.
Step 4
Place 3 tsp of chicken mixture into the center of each round. Fold the rounds in half over the chicken mixture. Pinch each half-moon closed at the seams using a fork. Lay each dumpling onto prepared baking sheets.
Step 5
Combine egg and milk in a small bowl.
Step 6
Brush each dumpling with egg mixture, sprinkle generously with sesame seeds.
Step 7
Bake for 15- 20 minutes until dumplings are golden brown and crispy.
