Catch of the Day Seasoning for Fish Tacos

Ingredients

  • Fresh fish fillets (tilapia, cod, or other white fish)
  • Catch of the Day seasoning
  • Flour or corn tortillas
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Sliced avocado
  • Salsa
  • Sour cream
  • Lime wedges
  • Oil for frying

Directions

Step 1

Begin by seasoning your fish fillets generously with Catch of the Day seasoning. Rub the seasoning on both sides of the fish, making sure to coat it evenly.

Step 2

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the fish fillets and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and crispy on the outside.

Step 3

While the fish is cooking, warm up your tortillas in a separate pan or in the microwave.

Step 4

Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the skillet and let it cool for a few minutes. Then, use a fork to flake the fish into small pieces.

Step 5

Assemble your fish tacos by placing some shredded lettuce on each tortilla, followed by the flaked fish, sliced avocado, salsa, and a dollop of sour cream. Squeeze a wedge of lime over the top of each taco for an extra burst of flavor.

Step 6

Serve your fish tacos immediately and enjoy!
