Directions
Step 1
Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
Step 2
Add the diced tomatoes, celery, and carrots to the pot and continue to cook for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Add the seafood broth to the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Step 4
Add the seafood to the pot and cook until it is fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes depending on the type of seafood.
Step 5
Stir in the Catch of the Day seasoning and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 6
Serve your seafood soup or stew hot and garnish with fresh herbs, such as parsley or cilantro, if desired. Tips: Feel free to experiment with different types of seafood to find your favorite combination. You can also add other vegetables such as bell peppers, potatoes, or corn to your soup or stew. For a creamier soup or chowder, add a can of coconut milk or heavy cream to the pot before adding the seafood. If you prefer a spicier flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a diced jalapeño pepper. Don't be afraid to adjust the seasoning to your liking. You can always add more Catch of the Day seasoning or other spices as needed.
