Middle Eastern Rice Pilaf
Directions
Step 1
Heat butter in a medium size pot over medium-high heat.
Step 2
dd onions and celery. Sweat until onions are translucent.
Step 3
Stir rice into onions and cook for 3-4 minutes. Stir in currants.
Step 4
Add iSpice World FlavorsTM Middle Eastern Seasoning and chicken stock. Bring to the boil, reduce heat to low and cover. Cook for 10 minutes until liquid is absorbed by rice.
Step 5
Remove from heat, let stand covered for 10 minutes.
Step 6
Fluff with a fork before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley.
