Directions
Step 1
Heat oil in a large soup pot over medium.
Step 2
Cook onions, stirring occasionally for 20 minutes until onions are dark brown.
Step 3
Stir flour and iSpice WellnessTM Beef Seasoning* into onions and cook 2 minutes.
Step 4
Pour in brandy and wine, reduce by half.
Step 5
Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 1 hour.
Step 6
Ladle soup into individual onion soup bowls or ramekins, top with baguette slices and sprinkle with cheese. Broil for 3-5 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Step 7
Serve immediately.
